"Whisper of the Horizon" – A Portal to Expansion and Infinite Wonder

When I created Whisper of the Horizon, I felt the quiet presence of the North Island Robin (Toutouwai), a bird known for its curiosity, resilience, and deep connection to the forest. This little guardian perches at the edge of an abstract world, a messenger between what is and what could be.

Layer by layer, I wove movement and meaning into this piece. The fiery reds and oranges ignite passion and transformation, while the deep blues and golds offer grounding and wisdom. There’s a delicate balance—just like the moment before a leap, where stillness and possibility meet.

The Toutouwai is fearless in its exploration, trusting the land beneath its feet and the unknown ahead. It reminds us that even when we stand at the threshold of change, we are supported. There is magic in the in-between spaces, where dreams begin to take form.
