Standing in the Light, Seen at Last.

The bellbird, usually a hidden presence within the dense foliage, steps boldly into the open, balanced upon a tower of stones. No longer camouflaged, no longer unseen—here, it stands proud, illuminated against a sky of soft golds and deep blues, a quiet force of resilience and presence.

This painting speaks to emergence, to finding the courage to be visible. The bellbird, a creature often heard but rarely seen, reminds us that there is power in stepping forward, in owning our space, in letting ourselves be known. The carefully stacked stones mirror this journey—each one a foundation, a step toward something higher, more certain, more true.
